Lena's Birthday
33 years ago this day, a girl was born and fortunately or unfortunately for her, maried me 33 years later. Am sure it was Godsend to me, as I am to her.
Since she can't take the day off, celebration of her birthday started at 1230hrs, when I picked her up from Lloyd Leas and we went to SPD to pick up her Tiramisu-birthday cake (made by inmates of Selarang Park).
Went for a simple lunch at Downtown East, and then we headed to Aviva Spa for her "Birthday Event #1: Body Revitalising & rebewal" which is, basically a Spa Treatment gift I planned for her (and got meself a full body massage too, hehe).
Birthday Event#2 is at home, a DVD presentation of her life in visual, a video collage I put together for her. After which we cut the cake, eat 'em and gave her the birthday presents (got for her a PDA). Am glad she likes it (or so, she claimed).
Final Event (#3) is actually a family outing to The Sesame Street Live Show at Downtown East. For the first time I could see that Mikail was very happy. His face lit up like a Christmas Tree when he saw Elmo (his fav SS character) appeared on stage. Its kinda heartwarming to you see someone you love became suddenly radiant with happiness. His smile etched a permanent picture in my mind, I could never forget that.
It was a beautiful day. A day of simple pleasure, laughter and joy. Something truly positive to blog about.
