Lesbianism

First and foremost let me apologise if this entry rub anyone here in any wrong way. And if you are truly going to get bent out of shape disagreeing, please do us both a favour and don't carry on reading - for this rant of mine is about how lesbianism sort of "destroyed" marriages - specifically TWO marriages - of two friends at work.

Within this one year two married female friends of mine decided to end their marriages to their respective husbands for another women. Of course, as an outsider I do not see the true picture (whatever that is) and whatever actually happened between two people only these two people know, we are but listener of news, up and down the grapevine. And sometime we just take everything hook, line and sinker and form opinion thereof.

But to think that a women will abandon matrimony for an alternative lifestyle (to be with a another women in a lesbian relationship) is truly alien to this ultra-conservative mind of mine. Even if it is a well known well publicised fact that the marriage was already "on the rock".

There is a general feeling of waste. Of destruction. Of loss. But if they are happy, why not?

I am still reeling from the shock as the person involved is someone whom I thought I know to be of higher substance and moral fortitude (and I sound like a high n mighty-anal-retentive moralist).

Her last word asked for people not to judge her. I don't, I leave that to God.
