We are settling in very well. Yumni is absolutely lovely. In retrospect, I am thankful to God for the speedy delivery, with no complications whatsoever.
If I do say so myself, Yumni is beautiful. She is so very different from Mikail & Luqman, then again she is my first daughter. Yumni looks as much like her mom as mikail does like meself, except, of course, bigger.
Unfortunately Yumni is much "yellower" (jaundiced) than those two. Have been to Ployclinic twice, with blood test and readings not too favourable, though showing only slight improvement. Will go to Poly again tomorrow (Thursday).
Yumni started life doing a lot of things like mikail & Luqman did at a a few days old. It was stated somewhere that one day in utero is the equivalent of three days in the wide world, and I believe it. Unlike Luqman, she came out exactly on her EDD (Luqman 9 days late), so she looks much smaller than Luqman at that age.
Mikail and Luqman are taking very well to being a big brothers. No jealousy has presented itself thus far. Mikail’s been a bit more clingy and cuddly towards me & Lena since Yumni’s birth, but I don’t mind that much at all. Its all in the package, they say.
Yes, it has been tiring on my part, running after all three when Lena's occupied with something else. Her Grandma (porpor) being around helps, though I am still expected to be the First Responder at the first sound of the siren (baby cry, lor)
Ok, gotta go, the siren started again.
